Biogas plants produce biogas or electrical power from acricultural / food waste and specially croped green mass. Biogas plant is a cleaning system that produces energy but not consums it.  

Biogas is prodused by means of controlled unaerobic treatment of organic materials by bacteria. It is similar to natural gas.
