04.09.2013
The pig farm in Pidgorodnee village has 10 000 pigs annual. The owners decided to re-construct the existing slurry storage 2400 m3 into a biogas reactor. Zorg Biogas developed the detailed technical documentation, supplied 100% of high quality German equipment and supervised the construction and montage. The biogas plant was successfully implemented and just started to convert 40 tons of slurry daily into biogas. 125 kW gen set is going to be switched soon. The plant will cover 80% energy demand of the pig farm. This is the 3rd in Ukraine Zorg's reference biogas plant available for visitors.
