Dung to energy project in Kazakhstan

Poultry farm KURMA (Kazakhstan) produced the 1st million kWh electric energy out of its waste.

Dung from 750 000 laying hens comes to treatment at the biogas plant. Produced biogas is burned at the co-generator. All electric energy supplied to the public grid under green tariff law.

Zorg's biogas plant at Kurminskoe is the biggest operational in Kazakhstan. Electric power 1MW is enough for the farm consumption and several villages nearby.
