Gas was found in Donetzk, Ukraine!

During the first days of year 2009 г. “ZORG Ukraine” Ltd. commenced engineering works on a powerful biogas plant for farm owned by one of Donezk coal mines.

Under contract conditions “ZORG Ukraine” Ltd can not reveal customer’s name. But for press it was announced that this is one of the Donezk coal mines that has agricultural subsidiary. 

Plant is aimed to recycle 220 tons of raw materials per day. As a raw material pig manure, cattle manure, poultry waste and corn silage will be used. Biogas plant will produce 1,2 MWh electricity and heat power. Plant start up is scheduled to be done in 2009.

This biogas plant can be example of perfect management for other companies of Donbas region as in spite of hard times in Ukraine company management found the ways to finance the project. Funds for biogas plant construction will be obtained via CDM as per Kyoto protocol.
