Biogas dryer

Biogas always contains water vapour in an unsaturated state. During combustion water vapour results in considerable corrosion damages to gas engines and turbines. Water must be removed from biogas with help of gas dryer (chiller).

Biogas is cooled by chiller and it results in moisture condensation and moisture removal. Condensate is separated out in a trap installed after the chiller and removed via a siphon.

The moisture removal modules are available in performance ranges offering gas flow rates from 100 to 6000 Nm³/h. Special designs are also available on request.
