Operating principle and application

Side-channel ATEX blower for biogas and biomethane supply and pressure boosting. Gas-tight construction; the configuration is selected for the gas composition, flow and required pressure.

Suitable configurations can be selected for biogas, biomethane, landfill gas, natural gas, CO₂, air and synthesis gas. Applications include gas transfer, supply to treatment and upgrading systems, and pressure boosting before gas-consuming equipment. Compatibility with the gas mixture, seals and materials, as well as the ATEX gas group, temperature class and zone, must be confirmed for the selected configuration; synthesis gas containing hydrogen requires a separate check.

• Maximum pressure increase at 50 Hz: 250 mbar.
• Motor power at 50 Hz: 22 kW.
• Sound level at 50 Hz: 90 dB(A).

The maxima are separate limits, not a simultaneous duty point. The datasheet curves refer to air at 20 °C and 1013 mbar absolute, with ±10% tolerance. Selection for the actual gas requires checking the performance curve and gas conditions.

Please specify gas composition and temperature, flow, inlet pressure, required pressure increase, operating duty and hazardous-area requirements. Power supply and motor execution must be confirmed for the selected configuration.
