During combustion, manual flares must always be supervised by a qualified operator. To reduce operational effort, the FAI series offers an automatic upgrade. These upgraded versions add an automatic gas valve, a UV flame detector, and an automatic burner-based control system that fully complies with EU regulations to the manual version.

To operate the automatic versions, simply switch the selector to start; the flame will open the valve and ignite the gas automatically. In the event of a flame failure, the UV detector will close the valve to prevent malfunctions. To stop combustion, switch the selector to stop.

Advanced options such as a transformer for battery operation, antifreeze configuration, pressure control, and a blower are available to make using the FAI as convenient as possible.

All FAI biogas flares from Zorg Biogas are manufactured entirely from 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel and are equipped with high-quality components. Their robust design ensures a long and consistent service life with minimal maintenance.
