Activated Carbon Filter ACF-1000-Comfort DN150 / DN200
€ 18.500,00
The ACF-1000-Comfort DN150 / DN200 activated carbon filter is designed for biogas desulfurization and hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) removal before the gas is supplied to CHP engines or other downstream equipment. The filter provides fine purification of pretreated biogas. With suitable activated carbon and appropriate operating conditions, the residual H₂S concentration can be reduced to near-zero levels.
The filter has a 2 m³ activated carbon bed and holds up to 1,000 kg of activated carbon. At low sulfur loads, this capacity supports long intervals between carbon replacements. Actual carbon service life depends on the inlet H₂S concentration, gas flow rate, carbon grade, humidity and other operating conditions.
Biogas flow rates: DN150 and DN200
The filter is available with DN150 gas connections for flow rates up to 450 Nm³/h or DN200 connections for up to 600 Nm³/h. The connection size is selected to suit the required biogas flow rate. The maximum pressure loss of 5 mbar helps limit the pressure drop across the gas treatment system.
The filter can be integrated into an existing gas line. It is suitable for installation between the gas blower and the CHP unit, provided the gas conditioning requirements are met.
Stainless steel Comfort design
The vessel and the carbon bed support screen are made of stainless steel 1.4571 / AISI 316Ti, offering high corrosion resistance in biogas applications. The filter measures 1,400 mm in diameter and 4,200 mm in height.
The elevated galvanized steel support structure provides clearance beneath the vessel for convenient removal of spent carbon through the DN250 bottom discharge flange.
Fresh carbon is loaded through the Ø500 mm top filling manhole. A galvanized steel ladder with safety cage is included to facilitate access to the top of the filter during filling and maintenance.
Carbon loading monitoring
The filter includes three gas sampling points for monitoring activated carbon saturation at 50%, 75% and 90% of the bed. Sampling at these positions helps operators track H₂S breakthrough through the bed and plan carbon replacement.
Nitrogen purging connections with C-52 quick couplings and a condensate drain assembly are provided. Bypass piping is available as an optional extra.
The ACF-1000-Comfort DN150 / DN200 provides an easy-to-maintain solution for biogas purification, hydrogen sulfide removal, activated carbon filtration and final biogas polishing.
