Activated Carbon Filter ACF-3000-Comfort DN250
€ 21.700
Activated carbon filter for biogas is designed for the final stage of biogas desulfurization and H₂S removal. It provides fine purification of pretreated biogas, typically reducing residual hydrogen sulfide from 50–200 ppm to near-zero levels before the gas is supplied to CHP engines or other downstream equipment.
The filter has a 6 m³ activated carbon bed and holds up to 3,000 kg of activated carbon. When used for final H₂S polishing, the low sulfur load provides long operating intervals between activated carbon replacements.
Up to 1,600 Nm³/h Biogas Flow
The biogas H₂S filter is designed for flow rates up to 1,600 Nm³/h and features DN250 gas connections. The Comfort range is designed for pressures from -50 to +200 mbar, with a maximum pressure loss of 5 mbar.
Hydrogen sulfide is removed using activated carbon, providing an effective solution for H₂S removal, hydrogen sulfide adsorption and final biogas purification.
Stainless Steel Comfort Design
The filter is manufactured from stainless steel 1.4571 / AISI 316Ti, providing excellent corrosion resistance for demanding biogas applications.
The Comfort version is elevated on a support structure, creating sufficient clearance beneath the vessel for convenient removal of spent activated carbon through the DN250 bottom discharge flange. The ACF-3000-Comfort is supplied with a ladder and platform, simplifying access, carbon replacement and maintenance.
H₂S Monitoring and Final Polishing
The filter includes three gas sampling points positioned at 50%, 75% and 90% of the activated carbon bed. This allows operators to monitor H₂S breakthrough through the carbon bed and plan carbon replacement.
With its 6 m³ carbon volume, 3,000 kg activated carbon capacity, stainless steel construction, DN250 connections and flow rate up to 1,600 Nm³/h, the unit is suitable for biogas purification, H₂S removal, hydrogen sulfide removal, biogas desulfurization, activated carbon filtration and final biogas polishing
