Heat-to-power

The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) principle is used in heat-to-power solutions. Free heat is available from an engine jacket cooling and from exhaust gases in biogas plants. ORC modules allow to increase electric power output in the range from 9 to 21%. There are water- and thermal oil-systems.
