Submersible mixers are used in biogas plants, urban and industrial wastewater treatment, industrial processes and agriculture. In biogas plants, they are used for mixing substrates or filtrate in reactors, in preliminary tanks and filtrate tanks. They are mounted on a special mast, along which they can be raised or lowered using a winch in order to adjust the height of the submersible mixer. They are sometimes used in fermenters or post-digesters for breaking up the crust. Suitable for low viscosity substrates with a dry matter content of up to 11%.

Submersible mixer with nominal power 18,5 kW provides circulation power 7200 m³/h. The motors of the mixers are available in efficiency classes IE2 (high efficiency) and IE3 (premium efficiency). The motor and controller are connected via a common waterproof cable which is resistant to aggressive media such as substrate on biogas plants. The agitators can be operated via direct connection, star-delta activation, soft start or frequency inverters, depending on the performance and application. It has optimized propeller with better hydraulics for providing high thrust values with a low power consumption.
