Vertical paddle agitator for high-load biogas reactors. It is intended for high-viscosity media and dry matter content inside of reactor up to 18 %. The substrates can have dry matter 60%. The paddles at different heights has different tilt angle. The upper paddles push the substrate downwards. And the bottom paddles push the substrate upwards. This unique construction prevents floating layers.

The agitator is mounted in 2 points: in the concrete roof of the biogas reactor and in the bottom. For maintenance purposes, the mixer can be removed from the biogas reactor during operation. A special seal prevents gas from escaping from the top cover. 

Agitator material: Structural steel with special coating or galvanized

Frame material: stainless steel 1.4301 and 1.4571 (grades 304 and 304L).Mounting frames must be poured into the concrete surface before the installation.

Bearing: Plain bearing made of special plastic to absorb radial forces. Ceiling bearings: Rolling bearings for receiving radial and all axial forces. Inner bearing: Encapsulated bearing unit with maintenance-free oil lubrication/ plain plastics bearing. Outer bearing: Spherical roller bearing/ bearing in the gearbox
