Record 15.6 MW biogas plant produced first power at Teofipol

The record 15.6 MW biogas plant produced its first kWh of electrical energy at Teofipol. This is the largest plant in Eastern Europe. The 1st stage has a capacity of 5.1MW of electrical power and runs on sugar beet pulp with cow manure.

The 2nd stage is in the equipment installation stage and will run on maize silage. Electrical power is produced by installed Jenbacher engines (3 x 1.2MW + 8 х 1.5MW).
